Our Story: One Degree Physio and Fitness

At One Degree, we’re more than just your local physio and fitness spot—we’re a team that’s here to make you feel heard, supported, and inspired. Fed up with the burnout and number-chasing of busy clinics, we dreamed up a place that’s all about good vibes, real connection, and true personal care.

We look after the whole you, blending physiotherapy, personal training, positive psychology, and lifestyle coaching, so you get more than just treatment—you get a community invested in your mental and physical wellbeing. We’re not about pushing you toward some impossible version of “your best.” Forget perfectionism and feeling like you’re never enough. Here, our motto is all about steady progress: just one rep, one step, one day, one degree at a time.

​Hey, I’m Rosa! Physio, coach, Christ-follower, dog-lover, and the heart behind One Degree Physio & Fitness.

​

I built this space for anyone longing to feel steady and supported in their training. If the typical fitness scene has ever left you overwhelmed or invisible—or just not quite yourself—you’re in the right place. This is for people who care about moving well, staying well, and enjoying it, without all the noise.

​

My own journey into health started way before I ever got a degree. I wasn’t that naturally sporty kid. I was the sensitive, creative type, quietly navigating things like anxiety, depression, and never quite feeling “enough.” Later, getting diagnosed with AuDHD finally helped me make sense of why packed gyms drained me, why rigid programs never fit, and why I needed a more flexible, thoughtful approach—one that took care of my mind as much as my body.

 

That’s what led me to physio—not just to treat aches and pains, but to help people move through life with more confidence, calm, and connection. I want every person who walks in to feel seen, understood, and empowered to find their own strength.

That’s truly the heart behind One Degree.

We don’t chase perfection here. We focus on simple, solid principles—the kind that bring steady progress instead of pressure. Our training is intentional, supportive of your goals and needs, and always meets you where you are. Your path is yours, and that’s how it should be.

Here, you’re never just another number. You don’t have to keep up with anyone but yourself. There’s no pressure to “push through” for the sake of some arbitrary goal.

If you’re neurodivergent like me (or not but resonate with my struggles), stuck in the gym hamster wheel, or just searching for a place where you can show up as you are—I see you, and this is your space.
